I took the "What is Your World View?" quiz and discovered to my surprise that I'm a postmodernist. Who knew that believing in context-dependence and the importance of analyzing language entails postmodernism? OK, maybe it didn't help that I voted for interpretation being an intrinsic feature of the universe (what else would it be?), though I did put in a vote for truth.
You scored as Postmodernist. Postmodernism is the belief in complete open interpretation. You see the universe as a collection of information with varying ways of putting it together. There is no absolute truth for you; even the most hardened facts are open to interpretation. Meaning relies on context and even the language you use to describe things should be subject to analysis.
Postmodernist: 69%. Cultural Creative: 63%. Existentialist: 56%. Modernist: 44%. Materialist: 38% (!). Idealist: 38%. Romanticist: 31%. Fundamentalist: 25%.
Wonderful! How much fun. Thanks for finding that. Apparently, my way of thinking about things is much further from yours than I thought (and I wouldn't have guessed I was such a strong existentialist!):
You scored as Cultural Creative.
Cultural Creatives are probably the newest group to enter this realm. You are a modern thinker who tends to shy away from organized religion but still feels as if there is something greater than ourselves. You are very spiritual, even if you are not religious. Life has a meaning outside of the rational.

100% swell! and with such perspicuous well defined categories, there will be no more guess-work to developing my philosophical views.
I'm sure I'm not the only one surprised to find out David Chalmers is a contextualist who doesn't believe in absolute truth. Based on these revelations, I propose a Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy entry that reads:
Postmodernism. def. Extreme contextualism and a denial of absolute truth - see also David Chalmers

Well, you're not alone Dave, here's another postmodernist! This one too didn't believe he was one.
Well to be honest, he does'nt believe it now either... ;-)

You scored as Materialist.
Materialism stresses the essence of fundamental particles. Everything that exists is purely physical matter and there is no special force that holds life together. You believe that anything can be explained by breaking it up into its pieces. i.e. the big picture can be understood by its smaller elements.

I was 81% materialist, yet still managed to be 63% postmodern. I think perhaps the quiz has an inadequate definition of postmodernism...it has a postmodern view of postmodernism.

You scored as Existentialist.
Existentialism emphasizes human capability. There is no greater power interfering with life and thus it is up to us to make things happen. Sometimes considered a negative and depressing world view, your optimism towards human accomplishment is immense. Mankind is condemned to be free and must accept the responsibility.

Having never studied what existentialists were, this was a little surprising. It's actually pretty close to what i believe in, give or take a few details...

Wow, I am amazed at how far this quiz has gone online. I created it in half an hour one day after class and thus never intended it to be comprehensive. Your remarks on the broad classification of postmodernist are right on and if I recall correctly that particular day I was not viewing postmodernism in a positive light for some reason or another and thus I did not give it more consideration. I am still hoping to one day create a more complete and thorough version of this quiz...certainly one more exhausting than would survive on a site such as quizfarm.com. Thank you for your comments and any feedback is always welcome.
